Variable-Speed AC Installation with Goodman Furnace Upgrade | Full HVAC Setup
In today’s project, we upgraded a home’s HVAC system by installing a variable-speed AC unit paired with an existing gas furnace.
The existing Goodman furnace was previously installed, but to ensure proper performance and efficiency, it required a full reinstallation. We carefully reinstalled the furnace and sealed the furnace closet, return cabinet, and return cavity to improve airflow and system efficiency.
As part of the upgrade, we installed an evaporator coil on top of the furnace, along with a 5-inch high-efficiency filter cabinet to enhance indoor air quality.
Outside, a new condenser unit was installed on the patio. We also ran a brand-new refrigerant line set from the condenser all the way to the attic to complete the system.
